Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and classic musclecars is their specialty. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. These headers use Hedman's patented TIGHT TUBES chamshell-style collector that allows for a low-profile header design, while still providing beneficial exhaust flow improvement over factory manifolds.
These BLACK-MAXX coated, TIGHT-TUBES headers fit a variety of 1967-1974 MOPAR passenger cars powered by Chrysler'S 273-360 LA engine (inline port port pattern only). Included in this list of popular models are 1970-74 Dodge Challenger, '67-74 Plymouth Barracuda, '66-74 Dodge Charger, '68-74 Plymouth Roadrunner 67-76 Dart, Duster, Super Bee and Valiant (check the application listings for exact fitment). The flat-style collector also makes these headers ideal for SB Chrysler equipped street rods and custom projects. These headers fit both manual and automatic transmission models, however, a mini-starter must be used, and modification to the shift linkage may be required. The smooth 1-5/8 in. tubes flow into the large, yet flat, collector, and provide improved exhaust flow, over factory manifolds, to let your Chrysler 273-360 (LA) engine produce additional horsepower and torque.
Each set includes a pair of header and collector gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts.
Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. These headers have a high temperature, SATIN-BLACK ceramic finish that resists corrosion, and can withstand temperatures up to 1400 degree F. This finish is covered by a 5-year factory warranty, in addition to Hedman's standard lifetime header warranty.

American-made Hedman Hedders have been helping racers unleash more power since 1954! Every set of headers Hedman makes is mandrel-bent for a consistent internal diameter and maximum flow, then flame-tested against leaks. For easy installation, they have unique ball socket collector flanges, which give you up to 20° of connection flexibility in case your pipes don’t match up perfectly. Hedders come with all the gaskets and hardware you need, plus instructions. All of Hedman’s Street Hedders are warranted for life, while Husler Hedders for racing have a 3-year limited warranty. Hedman also makes mufflers, exhaust tips, tubing, and other exhaust parts to those same high standards of performance and quality.
Hedman Hedders, began as a one man shop in 1954. Bob Hedman, founder of Hedman Hedders, sold his highly sought after exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. But, what started out as a way to make a few bucks to pay for Bobs racing hobby, quickly turned into the premier header manufacturer for both the racing and street header marketplaces.
Originally designed for straightline drag racers, word spread quickly about Hedmans reputation for building headers that gave you the best boost in power for your dollar. It wasnt long before Hedman Hedders was the brand of choice among racings elite engine builders, racers and race series.
